Characterization of fullerol fluorescence incorporated in human lens and retinal pigment epithelial cells

Abstract

Time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy and imaging was performed on fullerol incorporated in human lens and RPE cells after incubation at doses in the range 1-500 μM to investigate correlation with intracellular distribution and toxicity.
