Reconstruction in Diffuse Optical Tomography using Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

Diffuse optical tomography can be solved by global optimization method (genetic algorithm). For noise-free data, GA can find exact solutions with a probability of 80%. For noisy data, GA has better performance than Tikhonov regularization.
