Abstract

The finite-element computation of photon fluence and adjoint photon fluence necessary to image reconstruction in steady-state DOT has been implemented on field-programmable-gate-array (FPGA). Preliminary results encourage further exploration toward efficient DOT image reconstruction using FPGA.
