Abstract

Intraocular lens (IOL) implantation is the standard technique to treat cataract but posterior capsule opacification is one of the sill remaining postoperative complications. To address this problem we have developed a drug delivery polymer allowing repeated drug release in a non-invasive and controlled manner. The concept was successfully demonstrated in vitro.
