Time-domain spatial localization of fluorescent inclusions in thick scattering media with early photons

Abstract

We present a 2-step time-of-flight approach to localize in 3D, with 1mm precision, small fluorescent inclusions in thick scattering media using arrival times of early fluoresced snake photons.
