Value of Autofluorescence Measurements at the Eye

Abstract

The value of 2-dimensional measurement of fluorescence intensity, fluorescence spectra, and fluorescence lifetime mapping are compared for clinical diagnostics in ophthalmology. Measurements of dynamic fluorescence permits both sensitive detection and local discrimination of fluorophores.
