Optical Fluorescence Imaging of Breast Cancer

Abstract

We report on the first fluorescence results obtained with the Philips Optical Mammoscope and Schering AG’s omocianine dye. In preparation of a clinical trial, the fluorescence implementation, image reconstruction and first phantom results are presented.
