Abstract
We have previously demonstrated optical tomography images which correlate spatially and quantitatively with expected anatomy and physiology. Here we introduce a new approach in which prior anatomical information from MRI images is used to constrain the optical tomography image reconstruction. Similar approaches have been shown to improve image quality in simulation and in breast imaging but have not been previously implemented in 3D whole-brain optical tomography.
