Diffuse Optical Spectroscopy of Superficial Volumes: Sensitivity to Optical Properties and Sample Thickness

Abstract

We present a method for performing quantitative spectroscopy of superficial tissue volumes. We investigate the performance of this technique over a range of optical properties and by varying the top layer thickness of two-layer phantoms.
