Observer Performance Studies Involving Simultaneous ROC/LROC Fitting on Simulated NIR Tomographic Images

Abstract

Detection and location of objects in NIR tomographic images was performed with a simultaneous ROC/LROC analysis model with maximum-likelihood based fitting of the curves. Effects of iteration and algorithm performance significantly alter detectability of objects.
