Time domain optical mammography on 150 patients: hemoglobin concentration and blood oxygen saturation of breast tumours

Abstract

We recorded time-domain optical mammograms from more than 150 patients. Optical properties of breast tumors detected were estimated by employing models of photon diffusion considering the tumor as a spherical inhomogeneity.
