Abstract
The spatial dependence of the time-frequency response of hemoglobin states in the resting human forearm has been characterized from analysis of time-series imaging data. Results obtained strongly suggest that neural control of the vasomotor response can be distinguished from modulation caused by heterogeneity in tissue oxygen supply/demand.
