Photonic Crystal Fibers for Femtosecond Laser Point-by-Point Grating Inscription

Abstract

We have numerically identified hexagonal lattice parameters for PCF cladding that allow point-by-point grating writing. We designed and fabricated a PCF with suitable parameters and successfully inscribed a femtosecond point-by-point Bragg grating.
