Abstract

A broadband µJ-level seed from a monolithic Yb-fiber MOPA efficiently suppresses output pulse bistability and ensures simultaneous energy and average power saturation in a 6-mJ Yb:CaF2 amplifier at 1 kHz, twice over the cutoff repetition frequency.
