Abstract

We demonstrate a passively phase-locked seed source based on fs-Er:fiber technology with CEO-frequency set to zero. Such technology allows the synthesis of pulses with a duration of 4.3 fs. This value corresponds to a single cycle of the carrier wavelength at 1300 nm.
