High repetition rate – sub 30 fs – Gigawatt peak power optical parametric amplifier pumped by a chirped pulse fiber amplifier

Abstract

We present a parametric amplifier pumped by a high power fiber CPA system. Ultrashort pulses with 29 fs pulse duration and 2 GW peak power have been obtained by amplification of a spectrally broadened signal.
