Cr:YAG Chirped Pulse Oscillator

Abstract

We demonstrate the chirped pulse operation in the positive dispersion regime of the Cr4+:YAG laser. The pulses are readily compressed in 3.2 m of silica fiber to ~120 fs, and generate supercontinuum in high-nonlinearity fibers.
