High brightness diode-pumped passively Q-switched Nd:YAG microchip laser with amplifier

Abstract

We developed a high brightness passively Q-switched laser and amplifier using microchips. The pulse energy of 1.8 mJ with a pulse width of 820 ps was obtained with 46 mW/pulse low electrical power.
