Compact all-in-one THz-wave parametric oscillator pumped with LD-pumped Q-switched Nd:YAG laser

Abstract

We developed an all-in-one THz-wave parametric oscillator driven by an original LD-pumped Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The pump source and a ring-cavity THz-wave parametric oscillator were embedded into the package with almost A3-paper-size dimensions, with 155 mm-height. Additionally, spectroscopic measurement of maltose was demonstrated using the source and a pyroelectric detector at room temperature.
