ZGP Mid-Infrared Laser Source Pumped by Nearly-Degenerate PPKTP Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

A tandem OPO is reported where a Nd:YAG laser pumps a near-degenerate quasi phase-matched KTiOPO4 OPO with a volume Bragg grating output coupler. Both signal and idler are used to pump a single ZnGeP2 OPO.
