Abstract

We demonstrate the first antimonide (AlGaAsSb) semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM) for passive mode locking of an Er:Yb:glass laser at 1535 nm and 10 GHz. The SESAM is InP-based and grown by MOVPE.
