Efficient All-Solid-State Optical Parametric Oscillator for the Visible based on Periodically-Poled Stoichiometric LiTaO3

Abstract

We report the first high average power visible optical parametric oscillator based on periodically-poled LiTaO3. Stable operation indicates that the 370 mW visible output obtained should be scalable to much higher power.
