Novel method for generation of tunable UV/blue femtosecond pulses

Abstract

Tunable femtosecond laser pulses from 380nm to 460nm, attributed to a cascaded SFG process, can be directly generated from a 405nm-pumped type-I BBO NOPA. The optical conversion efficiency is more than 5%.
