Beating Instabilities and Dynamic of Inversion in an Yb:KGW Regenerative Amplifier

Abstract

We study the physics of high repetition rate Yb:KGW regenerative amplifiers and show both theoretically and experimentally that stable operation can only be obtained for specific ranges of repetition rates.
