KTP Optical Parametric Amplifier pumped by High Power Passively Q-switched Microchip Laser.

Abstract

We report subnanosecond passively Q-switched 1.57μm laser, based on YAG:Nd/YAG:Cr4+ microchip with intracavity KTP OPA. Pumped by 18W fiber coupled laser diode array, this laser produced 200pJ, 850ps pulses with peak power 235kW.
