Spectroscopic properties of heavily Nd3+-doped GGG and NdGG single crystals

Abstract

We have fabricated the highly concentrated Nd:GGG single crystals, and investigated the spectroscopic properties of them. It was also found that all Gd3+ ions in GGG crystals could be replaced to Nd3+, such as NdGG.
