Pre-chirp managed, circularly polarized Yb-fiber amplifier delivering >100-W, 47-fs pulses using high-dispersion mirrors as compressor

Abstract

We incorporate circularly polarized seeding pulses and high-dispersion mirror compressor into pre-chirp managed amplification and obtain 50-MHz, 47-fs pulses with 101.2-W average power. The efficiency of the pulse compression is >98%.
