Abstract

We report the first LiGaS2-based mid-IR OPCPA, delivering 13.8µJ, 10kHz, 145fs, 9µm pulses. A 5-mm thick KrS5 crystal is employed to further compress the pulse to the 45fs (1.5 cycle) pulse duration.
