Abstract
The project of Inertial Confinement Fusion as the Laser MégaJoule (LMJ) needs numerous optical components. The lenses and windows are coated by sol gel to increase their optical transmission in order to have a high laser damage threshold. These coatings need a post-treatment to increase their adhesion to the substrate. This process induces crazing when the layer is thick (antireflective layer at 1053 nm). We are going to present the several characterizations made to understand the phenomenon and to suggest a few leads to solve this problem.
