Sellmeier equations for periodically poled LaBGeO5

Abstract

We report the experimental results for quasi-phase-matched second-harmonic and sum- frequency generation in the 0.266-1.064μm range in periodically poled LaBGeO5. The Sellmeier equations for the ordinary and extraordinary waves of LaBGeO5, which can reproduce our observed values for the quasi-phase-matching conditions at 22°C as well as the QPM experiments for second-, third-, and fourth-harmonic generation of a Nd:YAG laser are also presented.
