Coherently combined femtosecond pulses from a multicore fiber amplifier

Abstract

We present a multicore fiber based amplifier that is suitable for coherent combination of broadband pulses supporting 250 fs duration. A combination efficiency of 80% could be maintained up to the maximum average power of 105 W.
