Dual-wavelength operation in Cr:LiSAF laser with external grating feedback

Abstract

An all-solid-state dual-wavelength Cr:LiSAF laser is demonstrated.The scheme of V-shaped main cavity combined of external grating feedback is applied to improve the efficiency and tunability.The output power in dual-wavelength operation reaches to 192 mW with the pump of 735 mW, indicating the optical-optical efficiency of 26.1%.The maximum wavelength difference is ~20 nm in 860 nm region.
