Multi-dimensional Amplification of Ultrashort Pulses

Abstract

Coherent beam combination is a promising power-scaling approach for ultrafast lasers and can be performed both in the spatial and in the temporal domain. We demonstrate for the first time the implementation of both techniques in a scalable approach combining four temporal and two spatial channels.
