Abstract

Sub-wavelength-thick, polarization independent, low-loss and dispersion-free graphene electro-optic modulators enable fast modulation of the laser cavity loss alone. Up to two orders of magnitude higher control bandwidths are achieved compared to the established pump-modulation scheme.
