Gamma Radiation-Enhanced Thermal Diffusion of Transition Metal Ions into II-VI Semiconductor Crystals

Abstract

We investigate the effect of gamma irradiation on the rate of post-growth thermal diffusion. Samples were annealed in the presence of gamma radiation and diffusion rates were compared to those of traditional methods.
