Monolithic Polarization-maintaining Amplifier Based on Chirally Coupled Core Fibers

Abstract

We report a monolithic fiber amplifier which is composed of 3C fibers. The amplifier demonstrates scaling up to 150 kW peak power in 0.3mJ, 2ns pulses while maintaining single mode quality and a linear polarization.
