Abstract

We report on the coherent polarization beam combination (CPBC) of two-channel passively mode-locked picosecond pulses by single frequency dithering technique. The feasibility of our active phase controller in pulse regime with broadband spectra has been verified. The combined pulses with duration of 250 ps and repetition rate of 18.7 MHz are obtained. The combining efficiency of 92 % is achieved at low power level.
