Abstract

A scalable concept based on ultrafast fiber lasers followed by nonlinear compression is presented, demonstrating 350 µJ, sub-8 fs pulses at an unprecedented average power of 53 W. Efficient High Harmonic Generation produces record-high photon flux soft X-ray and extreme ultraviolet radiation.
