Abstract

We compressed a 7-MHz-SESAM-modelocked thin-disk laser using an Ar-filled Kagome HC-PCF: launching 127-W, 18-µJ, 740-fs pulses directly from the oscillator, we obtain 88-fs pulses at 107 W, reaching over 85% of overall compression efficiency.
