An efficient, Q-switched, resonantly pumped Ho:YAG laser

Abstract

A Q-switched Ho:YAG laser was developed. Pulse energies of 2.18 mJ with a 8.8 ns FWHM pulse width at the PRF of 4 kHz were achieved. The laser operated at the wavelength of 2090.23 nm.
