Abstract

We report on a widely (2.25 THz or 75 cm−1) and rapidly (4.5 THz∕s) mode-hop-free tunable ppMgCLN-OPO spectrometer emitting in the 3.3-3.4 μm range. The exceptional tuning range is exemplified with single-scan Doppler absorption spectra of methane’s ν3-band.
