Passive Q-switching operation in self-adaptive, diode-side-pumped, Nd:YAG slab laser

Abstract

Passive Q-switching and free-running operations were examined in novel scheme of closed-loop, self-adaptive Nd:YAG laser pumped by 2D LD stacks. Up to 120 mJ in 5 pulses series with 24-ns duration were demonstrated.
