Megawatt Peak Power, kHz Repetition Rate at 532 nm Using [100]-Cut Nd:YAG Microchip Laser

Abstract

We report the first use of [100]-cut Nd:YAG crystal in a microchip laser to reduce depolarization at high average power. Consequently, we obtain SHG giving > 1 MW peak power, 1 kHz at 532 nm.
