Cr2+:ZnSe Laser Pumped by a 1.57 μm Erbium Fibre Amplifier

Abstract

A Cr2+:ZnSe laser pumped by a 1.57 μm erbium fibre amplifier is presented. In this compact setup an output power of 230 mW was obtained.
