Abstract

It is shown that in case of pulsed (τpulse < 1ms) pumping the energy storage efficiency does not depend much on erbium ions content in the range of (3÷20)×l019 cm−3 unlike the stored energy relaxation kinetics after the pump pulse. This kinetics is experimentally studied and mathematically described.
