Modular, Fiber Coupled, Diode Pumped Solid State Laser with up to 5 kW Average Output Power

Abstract

A modular diode pumped Nd:YAG laser with an average output power up to 5 kW has been developed. The beam quality is optimized for high efficiency fiber coupling. Experimental results of power scaling are presented.
