Abstract

Many applications requiring wavelength conversion of 1 pm pulsed laser output to the 1.5 pm “eyesafe” region use optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) that employ potassium titanyl arsenate (KTA) or potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) as the non-linear medium.
