Abstract

TEM00 beams in continuous-wave mode of 153W in random polarization and 105W in linear polarization have been generated with high electrical efficiencies of 10.9% and 8.6% respectively by using a diode-pumped Nd: YAG rod laser. These values are to our knowledge the highest numbers obtained with laser-diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers.
