Ce3+: LiBaF3 as New Prospective Active Material for Tunable UV Laser with Direct UV Pumping.

Abstract

Ce3+-activated LiBaF3 single crystal (Ce: LBF) shows promise of becoming the next widely tunable active medium for UV laser with direct UV pumping. Spectroscopic features characteristic of new prospective active material are reported.
