Nd:LuLF A NEW Nd LASER MATERIAL

Abstract

Nd:LuLF, Nd:LuLiF4, was grown and characterized both spectroscopically and as a laser operating on the 4F3/2 to 4F11/2 transition. Laser performance was achieved on both polarizations using a simple polarization selective resonator.
